FCA Italy has initiated a process with the Italian Government to obtain a guarantee from SACE in support of a credit facility designed to help the automotive chain Italy, comprised of approximately 10,000 small and medium size businesses. A dialogue in that respect is ongoing with the first banking group in Italy, Intesa Sanpaolo.

FCA reports first quarter results reflecting impacts from COVID-19, with Net loss from continuing operations of €1.7 billion, Adjusted net loss of €0.5 billion. Despite the significant impact of COVID-19, the Group delivered a positive Adjusted EBIT. Available liquidity at March 31, 2020 at €18.6 billion, further strengthened with additional €3.5 billion facility signed in April.

These funds add to €1.5 billion drawn down from other bilateral credit facilities of the Group.

After just seven days of work, the field hospital installed inside Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) former leisure and sports club in Betim, state of Minas Gerais, is now ready to operate and treat Covid-19 patients. This is the first field hospital ready for operation in Minas Gerais, and one of the first in Brazil.
