Doblò Cargo and New Fiorino triumph in the UK

"What Van?", Britain's the most important specialised magazine, has awarded the two Fiat Professional models and confirmed the high quality of the product. In particular, Doblò Cargo won the "Light Van of the Year" title for the second year running, while Fiorino prevailed in the "Small Van of the Year" category.

Doblò Cargo and New Fiorino have been named best vehicles in the "Light Van of the Year" and "Small Van of the Year" categories, respectively, by the expert panel of the prestigious "What Van? Awards 2017", the competition run by Britain's most important magazine specialised in advice for buying and selling light commercial vehicles. For the occasion, Fiat Professional has created a special advertising campaign that celebrates the two coveted accolades.

At the award ceremony which took place in London, the "What Van?" panel of experts, with decades of experience in the sector, announced the success of the two models, which together with the iconic Ducato and the recent Fullback and Talento models form the Fiat Professional line-up that has been fully renewed in just two years. Incidentally, the new Fiat Professional Fullback was voted "Pick-up of the Year 2017" in the first competition ran by French magazine "4x4 Magazine" (Editions Larivière).

In addition to winning awards, the Fiat Professional line-up today has the right answers to all transport mission needs because all segments are covered with a full array of body types, loading capacities and volumes and a complete choice of wheelbases, widths and height variants, in addition to high-efficiency engines and various fuels options (petrol, diesel, LPG and methane).

More in detail, the "Small Van of the Year" award went to the New Fiorino, the evolution of the model which invented the small van segment and of which over 370,000 have been sold since its launch in 2007. With refreshed a design, inside and out, the new Fiat Professional is perfect for use in cities, agile in traffic and easy to park. Despite this, it has a remarkable loading capacity of up to 2.8 cubic metres  and can carry up to 660 kilograms of payload. Furthermore, it is top-in-class in terms of performance, low running costs, comfort and functionality. The engine line-up - all Euro 6 - can satisfy all needs. According to the market, the range features two turbo diesel 1.3 MultiJet2 engines with 80 and 95 HP, a 1.4-litre aspirated petrol Fire with 77 HP and the 1.4-litre bi-fuel petrol and methane Natural Power with 70 HP, a solution that only the new Fiorino has in the small van segment. The range counts two configurations (Cargo and Combi), three trim levels (Base, SX and Adventure) and three engine versions (petrol, petrol/methane and diesel).

Another winning player is certainly Doblò Cargo, that was named best "Light Van of the Year" by the "What Van?" expert panel for the second year running. The prestigious accolade is added to the other two important awards assigned in the UK during the year, namely that of "Light Van of the Year" for the specialised website VansA2Z and that of "Best Small Van" for the specialised magazines Van Fleet World and Trade Van Driver.

In its fourth generation and heir of the winning model that since 2000 has been chosen by over 1.6 million customers, the new Doblò Cargo packs more functions, more performance and more value. These are the guidelines which enabled Fiat Professional to design a top-in-class vehicle in terms of performance, functional characteristics, loading capacity and cost-effective running. These winning features make it a reliable, distinctive vehicle with more value for the customer.

According to the markets the range counts for body types (Cargo, Combi, Chassis Cab with flatbed and Workup), various heights, lengths and wheelbases, in addition to a full range of Euro 6 diesel, petrol and petrol/methane engines. This is the most extensive range in the segment, with versions and solutions ranging from vans to special vehicles, including versions converted for specific uses. Noteworthy particularities include loading capacity (up to 5.4 cubic metres) and payload (up to 1 tonne), which are at the top of the category, in addition to exclusive Bi-link suspensions, the innovative Uconnect 5" Nav LIVE touchscreen multimedia system and the most advanced electronic stability control devices, such as ABS with EBD, ESC complete with ASR, HBA and  Hill Holder. Traction+ is available on demand.
