The Ducato has received yet another international award, to add to the many it has already won. For the thirteenth time in a row, it has been named "Best motorhome base 2020", ahead of its well-known competitors. This prestigious award is given by the readers of Promobil, a specialized German magazine that has served as a major benchmark for trends in the recreational vehicles sector for over 25 years.

Since 1981, the Ducato has been continuously produced at the Sevel plant, located in Val di Sangro (CH). However, the new Ducato MY2020 is an enhanced model to best respond to all professional needs. It also boasts major new features for the Ducato motorhome base versions, aiming to further consolidate its undisputed leadership in the sector. In the last ten years, more than 500,000 households across Europe have selected a motorhome based on this range

Leisure sector customers seem to be particularly enthusiastic about one of its major innovations: the new 9-speed automatic transmission. This ensures a relaxed and pleasant driving experience, fuel consumption optimization as well as performance enhancement. Even more so, in classic Ducato motorhome base style, the engine range has been overhauled by the introduction of a Euro 6d-TEMP 2.3-liter industrial diesel engine. It is robust and durable, yet guarantees performance and comfort while driving, with its four power levels: 120, 140, 160 and 180 hp. All equipped with Multijet 2 technology, each engine has its own special features, such as the design of the turbocharger, pistons and fluid dynamics. Finally, for safe and smooth journeys, the most advanced drive assistance systems (ADAS) come as standard, as well as specific suspension for motorhomes, together with a long list of features to guarantee maximum comfort.

The Fiat Professional Ducato motorhome base is the true "Leader in Freedom", with an extraordinary track record of international awards as testament to its primacy. The prestigious German "Best motorhome base” award stands out, confirming the trust customers accord to the Ducato model as an ideal base for their leisure time. Fiat Professional is the only brand with a dedicated team that can boast a profound knowledge of the world of Recreational Vehicles, as "certified" by the "Fiat Professional For Recreational Vehicles" logo. The brand is also highly specialized in terms of products and services for the motorhome owners, thus guaranteeing maximum flexibility and freedom for its customers.
