Fiat Concept Centoventi awarded the Special Jury Prize at the “Trophées Argus 2020”

Last night, Olivier François, President of Fiat Brand Global, received the prestigious French magazine “L'Argus”'s Special Jury Prize, awarded to the Fiat Concept Centoventi, Fiat's vision for the democratic electric mobility of the future

Last night, Paris hosted the 27^th award ceremony of the “Trophées Argus”, a competition organized by the prestigious French magazine L'Argus. This year the jury of 18, including journalists and experts in technology and residual value, evaluated 60 models, divided into 11 categories, including the Fiat Concept Centoventi, which won the coveted “Special Jury Prize”.

“As a Frenchman and as the Global President of Fiat, I am proud to accept this award from one of the most prestigious French publications. I am even more proud that the Special Jury Prize has gone to the Fiat Concept Centoventi”, said Olivier François. And he continued: “Concept Centoventi is the quintessential brand from Fiat, for 120 years synonymous with city and family cars, and represents the most innovative solution for the urban electric mobility of tomorrow. It has a social mission because it is sustainable, because it is democratic, because it results in creation and involvement through its community, because it “communicates” with the outside world and because it was designed for car sharing. Fiat Concept Centoventi is an ABC of a car: “Affordable But Cool”.

Presented at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show and currently in the limelight at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, this revolutionary vehicle won over the French jury, whose citation read: “Fun and 100% electric, the Concept Centoventi elevates customization to an art: colors and interchangeable materials, the option of replacing the passenger seat with a child seat or pet carrier, as well as holes in the dashboard for attaching 3D-printed accessories. In addition, a modular autonomy range from 100 to 500 km, based on individual “packages” of 100 km each, can be purchased directly by customers. Its appearance – suggesting a revisited Panda – has won over the jury for the Trophées l'Argus. We look forward to seeing the concept in production”.
