The new commercial for the Fiat Panda 4x4 Antartica, the Limited Edition presented at the Frankfurt 2013 Motor Show to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the most popular model of which over 500,000 have been sold, is on-air on major broadcasters in Italy and will soon be seen across Europe.

The TV, press, poster and web campaign created by Leo Burnett is perfectly in tune with the 'extremely Panda' concept which has always been a feature of the model's communications. Co-starring with Panda in this amusing commercial are penguins, the very symbol of the Antarctic but unlike the charming animals who are often prone to slipping and falling, the unstoppable Panda 4x4 Antartica is perfectly at ease on ice and snow.

Available with 75 HP 1.3 MultiJet II with Start&Stop, the price of the new Panda 4x4 Antartica starts from19,600 euros in Italy and it will be a limited edition of 200. What is more, Fiat Dealerships will be including a special promotional pack on the Panda 4x4 range until 31 October. The already great standard equipment of the car will be complemented by an automatic climate control system, parking sensors and Blue&Me with USB/Aux-In and steering wheel controls, totalling a value of 2.500 euros for the cars in Fiat showrooms. It will also be possible to request the benefit of zero percent interest rate scheme.

On the outside, the Panda 4x4 Antartica sports a two-tone bodywork - white with a black roof - as well as several distinguishing features which give even more personality to the little 4x4 city car: grey diamond finish 15" alloy rims, orange hub caps, Privacy windows on the rear windows and at the back, orange mirror fairings and a special badge on the central pillar, in addition to rear parking sensors.

The interior features stylish fabric and ecoleather grey and orange upholstery, with the Panda's well loved versatility and passenger compartment comfort once again guaranteed by the three seater rear seat with 60/40 folding backrests and automatic climate control and Blue&Me system with steering wheel controls.

Of course, the special series features all of the strengths of the 4x4 model, which last year was awarded the prestigious title of 'SUV of the Year 2012' by the UK's Top Gear magazine. Starting with the adoption of the "torque on demand" drive system, which is activated automatically when needed, so you can tackle any driving situation in complete cool. The Panda 4x4 also features the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) system with ELD (Electronic Locking Differential) function as standard. This system provides additional assistance while driving and setting off on slippery terrain.

The Panda Antartica brings you all the dynamics and comfort you need to drive long and challenging routes, thanks above all to the revised suspension - an independent MacPherson wheel arrangement at the front and interconnected wheels with torsion beam layout at the rear - and to the adoption of specific 175/65 R15 84T M+S Winter tyres.

The special Snow Flake tyres are designed to be used not only on ice and snow, but on roads and dirt tracks as well. This means that traction capacity on poor-grip surfaces is 20% better than the previous model. And it should be noted that this ultimate flexibility of use does not affect fuel consumption or running costs since, in pure 'Simply More' style, the Panda 4x4 Antartica customer does not have to worry about replacing the set of tyres with every change of season.
