Middle East - The 2019 Abarth 595 combines race performance with unique Italian style
  • Performance, technology and iconic Italian style are the key factors behind the steady global expansion of the brand with the Scorpion badge.

  • The Abarth 595 is available in two configurations: Turismo and Competizione.

  • Abarth 595 Turismo model is exclusively available in the Levant.

For 2019, the Abarth 595 - available as a hatchback and convertible, and in Turismo and Competizione configurations - offers owners new opportunities to stand out even further from the crowd with two new body colours available for the first time and a range of special packages that make this remarkable vehicle even more unique.

The two stunning new paint finishes - Adrenaline Green and Asphalt Grey Matt - are available for the first time this year and are exclusive to the 595 Competizione, while other new available enhancement options include a black roof (Turismo and Competizione hatchback only), the choice of red or yellow seat belts plus a special carbon fibre pack that transforms the front air dam, side mirror caps and dashboard (Competizione hatchback and convertible only).

The Abarth 595 Turismo features unique 17’’ alloy wheels and black brake calipers, dual chromed steel exhaust tailpipes and satin chrome mirror covers. Powered by a 1.4 Turbo T-Jet engine that delivers 165 hp and with Abarth rear shocks by Koni, it means that you don’t have to choose between performance and style when you can have both in one exciting package.

The 2019 Abarth 595 Competizione pushes performance to the limit - 180 hp of pure adrenaline pumping out from its 1.4 Turbo T-Jet engine that develops torque of 250 Nm at 3,000 rpm via its Garrett GT 1446 turbo. Abarth front and rear shock absorbers by Koni, dual mode Record Monza exhaust system with 4 tailpipes, fixed 4-piston front calipers by Brembo, Corsa 17” diamond cut alloy wheels and Abarth side stripe in Anthracite Grey - it’s an Abarth with no compromises.

The Record Monza Exhaust's iconic sound has evolved to be even more unique and unmistakable - even more yours, even more record-breaking. Grip the wheel, step on the gas and decide how you want to have fun. It takes just a touch to activate the exhaust valve and decide whether you want to travel with a more discrete sporty sound or unleash the roar and let everyone hear the real power of your 595 Competizione.

Ideal for adrenaline junkies looking for racing performance and technical features, the 595 Competizione speeds from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and its oversized Brembo braking system with four-piston aluminium fixed calipers bring it to a stop in total safety. The combination of the high-performance Record Monza exhaust with dual mode system and standard 1.4 Turbo T-Jet engine paired with an Abarth robotized sequential gearbox and shift paddles, outputs a specific power of 132hp/L.

For more effective sporty driving, the 595 Competizione also has a flat-bottomed steering wheel with viewfinder made of carbon fibre. And in addition to the standard leather seats that are available in red, tan or black, optional Corsa by Sabelt seats provide extraordinary lateral support and are perfect for sporty driving due to their ability to accurately transmit every minimum load shift to the driver.

The innovations continue with a sports instrument panel and graphics that characterise the "sport" mode and improve readability. Abarth engineers also worked on the rear bumper creating a more pronounced and effective diffuser and the 595 Competizione features specific bumper inserts in tar cold grey finish. The front and rear light clusters are also new and are equipped as standard with polyelliptical headlights, LED daytime running lights and Xenon headlights on the entire range.

The latest Abarth 595 is one of the very best expressions of the values of the brand, which are based on top performance, craftsmanship and continual technical upgrades. These three values guide the work of the Abarth designers, engineers and technicians who create the compact supercars with the Scorpion badge engaged every day on the road and on the racing track.

About the Abarth brand: Transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary to offer the best products in the small sports car segment. This is the mission of Abarth - the brand with the Scorpion badge - which has always been the byword for performance and iconic Italian style.

It was in 1949 that Carlo Abarth, after a career racing motorcycles and cars, founded Abarth & C with Guido Scagliarini. The first vehicle produced was the 204 A Roadster, based on the Fiat 1100. It immediately won the 1100 Sport Championship as well as Formula 2. Alongside racing, the company started to produce tuning kits that improved performance, power and speed of standard vehicles.

Abarth vehicles were renowned for their high performance and power, but first and foremost for being small and agile just like the Scorpion. Carlo Abarth’s performance modified cars achieved success in every competition and with him at the wheel, set many records. In the 1950s and throughout the 60s, the Abarth brand became synonymous with sport, tuning and performance, and changed the sports car world.

Today, the Abarth brand still maintains its unique DNA, and is renowned for performance, great driving pleasure and sporty appeal. The story of the Scorpion continues, facing new challenges, creating unique vehicles and giving great emotion to whoever has the honour of driving these vehicles.
