'J Set Summer 2013' project van Jeep start in Monte Carlo
The 'J SET Summer 2013' starts today, bringing the Jeep brand to the coolest seaside resorts in Europe. In these exclusive locations, Jeep will be present with customised, exclusive spaces, providing a meeting point for all its fans, who will be able to enjoy some leisure time and moments of relax and will be offered the opportunity to test the entire range of Jeep 4×4 vehicles and receive information on each model in the lineup.
The new project aims at surpassing the success of the two previous winter editions (2011/2012 and 2012/2013), which saw Jeep boasting a commanding presence in some of the most prestigious ski resorts in Europe: Courmayeur (Italy), Mayrhofen (Austria), Tiroler Zugspitz Arena (Germany), Courchevel (France) and Garmisch (Germany). With thousands of guests and more than 1,100 performed test drives, the two successful editions of the 'J SET Winter' convinced the brand to extend the project to the most fashionable summer resorts in Europe: the first location to be involved is Monte Carlo, the well-known destination of the international jet set and home to world-famous cultural and sports events.
The project is the result of the brand's choice to be present in some foreign locations with the 'J Set' concept which is now evolving into an international network connecting different locations through the exclusive services offered to the owners of the 'JSET card'. The 'JSET card' was revealed to the public last night in Monte Carlo and given to the players of Juventus.
Jeep those to set up its 'J SET Summer 2013' space at the new 'One Apple' in Port de Fontvieille, the exclusive 'Concept Bar & Restaurant' which now hits the French Riviera after the success of the first location opened in 2011 in Turin. Featuring a refined, modern ambiance, the new One Apple combines traditional furnishing and contemporary design elements that elaborate some of the signature features of the brand. The One Apple will host the 'J SET Summer 2013' for the whole summer season.
Yesterday evening the Monégasque location, featuring the evocative 'J Set' area, was inaugurated with the exclusive 'Black & White' party, which saw the participation of Antonio Conte, Andrea Pirlo, Alessandro Matri, Arturo Vidal, Paul Pogba, Stephan Lichsteiner and Giorgio Chiellini to represent Juventus, the winner of the 2012/2013 Italian Championship and football Club with Jeep as Official Sponsor. This confirms the bond between the Club that plays in black and white and the automotive brand, two icons of their respective worlds featuring in their DNA a history of authenticity and passion, as well as the ability to take on and succeed in every challenge. It's no coincidence that also Jeep emerged as a 'champion' in 2012, marking an extraordinary year in terms of sales performance and corporate image. Jeep was one of the fastest growing brands in Europe, with an increase of approximately 20%. This excellent result enabled Jeep to set its new all-time sales record of over 700,000 vehicles sold worldwide last year.
On the occasion, the public could get a closer look at the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, displayed in European première outside the 'One Apple' in Monte Carlo. Flagship of the range, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee is now being presented to the international press in Sicily and will be introduced in Italy and in the major European markets starting in July. First introduced in 1992, and now boasting approximately 5 million units sold worldwide, the most awarded Large SUV ever continues to evolve and features a new exterior and interior design, new advanced technological contents and enhanced on-road and off-road manners thanks to its all-new eight-speed automatic transmission, fitted as standard across the entire lineup.
For the whole 2013 summer season, the guests of 'J SET Summer 2013' will be offered the opportunity to book a test drive of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee and to request information on the entire Jeep lineup. In addition, a dedicated shuttle service on board Jeep 4×4 vehicles will be provided to the visitors.
