FIAT WINS AT AUTO TRADER CLICK AWARDS FOR INNOVATIVE FIAT 500X “POWER OF X” DIGITAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN

FIAT has won the “Best Integrated Marketing Campaign” award at the Auto Trader Click Awards 2015 in recognition of its innovative, industry-first digital advertising campaign in support of the launch of the FIAT 500X crossover vehicle in the UK.

FIAT has won the "Best Integrated Marketing Campaign" award at the Auto Trader Click Awards 2015 in recognition of its innovative, industry-first digital advertising campaign in support of the launch of the FIAT 500X crossover vehicle in the UK.

The campaign, which was developed by FIAT, Microsoft Advertising and media agency Maxus, featured the FIAT 500X and Dynamo, the world-renowned magician and the star of the hit TV show Magician: Impossible, which airs in more than 180 countries on Discovery Networks reaching in excess of 210 million people globally.

Now in its eighth year, the prestigious Auto Trader Click Awards event is now one of the cornerstones of the digital retailing calendar, celebrating excellence in digital car retailing with accolades awarded based on the close scrutiny of objective research and by an independent panel of judges. In presenting the award to FIAT, judges pointed to a well-conceived and skilfully executed campaign for the all-new FIAT 500X.

Marc Gerstein, Head of Digital UK, commented, "The Digital Team created a unique approach to reach shoppers on multiple platforms that delivered results. Working with Microsoft we were able to reach people on Xbox, Skype, MSN, Outlook.com and Windows 8, culminating in an immersive, interactive illusion from the magician in advance of the UK launch of the FIAT 500X in April. This exciting build up helped drive over 300 initial system orders."

Gerstein added, "The UK digital team is delighted to have been presented with this significant award. It really is an endorsement of the work our group is taking throughout the business to meet the needs of our customers. Decisions are increasingly taken in the digital space and any integrated marketing campaign must align itself fully to the new consumer journey."
