Abarth 695 biposto: the “smallest of the supercars”

Today at the "Riccardo Paletti" Racetrack in Varano de' Melegari (Parma), the new Abarth 695 biposto is being presented to the international press and made available for test drives. It's the ideal synthesis of road-going and racing cars, the "translation" of racing into a car made for daily life.

In the year of the legendary Fiat Abarth 695's 50th anniversary, Abarth pays homage with the new Abarth 695 biposto, which made its official début at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Available for order from June of this year, the brand's modern icon has already acquired a number of orders far exceeding the production capacity for the current year.

A success announced in advance by the great enthusiasm with which the Abarth 695 biposto was received at the main European automotive events in which it took part: Goodwood, Festival of Speed, LeMans Classic, Lignières Historique, Salon Privée. That's not to mention the Gumball 3000, a prestigious supercar showcase that, for the first time, adopted an official car: the 695 biposto, in fact. Now the "smallest of the supercars" is ready to unleash its 190 HP on the roads of Europe, with the first deliveries set for the end of the year.

A high-adrenaline car created in the Officine Abarth in Turin, where craftsmanship and attention to detail, typical of Abarth's most exclusive cars, meet the best of race car technology. From its founding to the present day, Abarth has never shrunk from challenges that at times seem impossible: the Abarth 695 biposto - the smallest of the supercars - is yet another demonstration that ingenuity and passion know no limits.

The 695 biposto epitomises the philosophy of Carlo Abarth - summed up by the slogan "Sunday on the track and Monday in the office" - who wanted to offer everybody the chance to live out their passion every day, making ordinary products extraordinary and making normal people feel like racing drivers every day.

The price list for the Abarth 695 biposto varies according to the destination market, to best satisfy the specific requirements of each country. To see the various offers, the local Abarth Press sites are available.
